My life has been one of exploring great tradegy with God. Before I turned four, my world was invaded with atrocities few witness in life. Those scars leave roads.
The good news is final judgment is not mine. It belongs to God.
I wouldn’t know how to make the right judgments against the people who took so much from me. I don’t want that job. I’m leaving it with God. My forgiveness allows his work.
I have an inability to know what justice truly looks like. I have a strong sense that it is full restoration of things stolen. I’m moved to belive that God ignores nothing.
I must stay out of his way so he can move. My interference, my demanding for him to do “something,” doesn’t help.

Condemnation was forced into my life before I had the ability to choose for myself. That indeed made me a prisoner by a crime I didn’t commit.
Yesterday in a beautiful heart healing session, I heard Father God once again telling me I didn’t kill the woman. I was only a witness to her murder. The comfort that brings my soul speaks life into my bones.
How many of us sit under the guilt and condemnation of crimes we didn’t commit?
Ask Yourself this Question
Are you guilty or is the condemnation that wreaks havoc on your soul a burden that doesn’t belong to you?
After my father slit the throat of the woman he killed, he placed the knife in my hand. I was three. The condemnation that I’ve carried since then has lead me down roads I would have never chosen for myself.
Are your scars leading you down roads of judgment, condemnation and guilt?
Let Jesus set you free from that. I’m reminded of Romans 8:
1 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].
2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
3 For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son]
Let Jesus set you free! We cannot do it ourselves. We cannot live "clean enough" to erase what only the blood of Jesus was meant to do for us.
