Introspection — what better way to start a week.
Question: Do you love, cherish, and accept yourself?
I’m moving into my sixties soon and I am just now learning how to be comfortable in my own skin. God has helped me tremendously with this.
I hate my story, which often translated into hating myself.
My story has not changed, but my destiny and future have created a new story in me. I like who I am. I am courageous and strong. I am weak and make mistakes. I am full of love and fear.
I still hate the story I came through — I’m not going to lie. I wish I had a different beginning but God is has not yet fully revealed to me where I’m going next.
I am excited for the future. I like where I am today. That’s good enough for me.
